What is uploaded
When you choose an image, the original file is uploaded so the service can analyze it, generate previews, and create the responsive image pack you requested.
Privacy
Web Image Optimizer keeps uploaded sources and generated outputs private by default, stores them temporarily, and automatically removes them after the configured retention window.
When you choose an image, the original file is uploaded so the service can analyze it, generate previews, and create the responsive image pack you requested.
Uploaded sources and generated outputs are used only to process your current image job. They are not used to train models, build datasets, or create public galleries.
Source files, generated images, manifests, and ZIP packages are temporary. Successful job artifacts are configured to expire after 24 hours. Failed or incomplete artifacts may be removed sooner.
Generated downloads use short-lived signed links. Anyone with a valid link during the retention window can download that file, so avoid sharing result links publicly.
The app uses a session cookie to associate your browser with your temporary jobs. It is used for product functionality, not cross-site advertising.
Do not upload confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal data. This MVP is designed for static website images and temporary processing, not long-term secure document storage.
The current production configuration stores temporary files in private S3-compatible object storage and keeps Redis job/session state on the application server. If the service is redeployed or storage is reset, active temporary jobs may be lost and users can upload again.
